How old do you feel?

So Neo's twenny-six today! I know I missed to post something on this blog on Smeagol's birthday, but besides me, blame him - he's just crazy about a ring! So here's to Neo, and belatedly, Smeagol!

Allah selamatkan kamu... Allah selamatkan kamu... Allah selamatkan Sadiq Sigaraga... Don't ask me why I put a lemang photo instead of a birthday cake - I've probably subconciously developed a mental embargo on western food temporarily (just today due to that lunch at Chilli's).

Actually, what's is it like for you guys to turn 26? For me since I'm a gal and all, I should feel like I'm old, and I should settle down, buy a house already, buy a car already, have someone already, talk about taxes already... right?

Funny, (or maybe not) cause I'm not there yet. Are you guys there yet?

p/s: Angeless berwajah baru!

What's this song about?

One groupie asked my sis' band to play Muse's song which was a hit some time back called Time Is Running Out and the band complied. I've heard the song on radio before, but played live, the song's haunting and eerie elements jumped out!

I band this song together with Creep (by Radiohead) and Californication (RHCP) and Shape of My Heart (Sting)... you know, all sad the songs that I enjoy (think of the irony there)...

The song have been about:

1] a HIV-infected drug addict who's succumbing to AIDS
2] a pregnant GF whose BF is asking her to abort

Whaddaya think? Check it out...

Time Is Running Out
Absolution
Muse

I think I'm drowning
asphyxiating
I wanna break the spell
that you've created

you're something beautiful
a contradiction
I wanna play the game
I want the friction

you will be
the death of me
yeah, you will be
the death of me

bury it
I won't let you bury it
I won't let you smother it
I won't let you murder it

our time is running out
and our time is running out
you can't push it underground
we can't stop it screaming out

I wanted freedom
but I'm restricted
I tried to give you up
but I'm addicted

now that you know I'm trapped
sense of elation
you'll never dream of breaking this fixation
you will squeeze the life out of me

bury it
I won't let you bury it
I won't let you smother it
I won't let you murder it

our time is running out
and our time is running out
you can't push it underground
we can't stop it screaming out
how did it come to this

you will suck the life out of me

bury it
I won't let you bury it
I won't let you smother it
I won't let you murder it

our time is running out
and our time is running out
you can't push it underground
we can't stop it screaming out

how did it come to this

Oghe kato...

... dio dok saloh, and meme Mr Clean saing dio selamo ni...

That the moment Mr Clean takes over at the pinnacle, the powers that be let the man who was deemed innocent walk free. That the Federal Court's decision was already known among supporters of the man deemed innocent who were patient enough to keep berthed on the main stream.

Back then during the time when the tables turned for the man deemed innocent, Mr Clean had wanted to risk it and blow the cover-up, but wise friends advised him to stay, as he was clearly the one with the biggest potential to rise, to become the one bringing change to the scene - and timing is important.

And time brought out the most obvious - Mr Clean ascended to the top as predicted - he felled logs of political corruption, brought to trial the protected swindler, held his enemy closer, and latest so far, let the man deemed innocent walk free.

Is the man deemed innocent really was innocent? And what is he up to, now that he's free?

And what's to become of the new bright blue party? The biggest cause had been achieved, is there a need to exist, especially when their last alliance didn't work out?

One can only hope the Malays will unite. Maybe Mr Clean is up for this task...
