Adapun memang anak Melayu zaman ini ramai yang sudah tidak punya identiti Melayu lagi. Aku tak pernah kagum dengan konsep Melayu Baru yang mahukan kita rajin dan pandai berniaga seperti satu kaum yang lain itu, mahupun ikut kaum yang lagi satu itu bercakap dalam bahasa Inggeris dengan sungguh fluent serta penuh conviction lagi.

Itu semua habuk tak guna. Patutnya anak Melayu ada identiti Melayu - yang hormat orang lain, ada budi bahasa, tahu bawa diri.

Secara peribadi aku lebih kagum dengan orang Melayu dulu - yang suka berbakti pada tanah dan berani melayar samudera. Bila matahari panas mereka duduk rehat, tenangkan fikiran dan menghayati keindahan alam. Inilah peribadi orang Melayu yang aku kagumi - yang sedar bahawa sekeliling kita sarat dengan anugerah Tuhan dan tahu cara terbaik untuk menikmatinya.

Mana pergi orang-orang Melayu yang begini? Ke mana arah orang "Melayu" yang ada sekarang ini? Aku sendiri pun tak pasti aku Melayu yang mana satu - tapi aku ada cita-cita nak jadi seperti orang Melayu lama yang aku kagumi.

OK habis mengarut. Encik Smeagol, siapakah yang engkau maksudkan itu? Siapakah pemilik Kembara DVVT yang sedang mencanangkan bahawa dia telah pun membuka buku hutang untuk membeli suatu aset yang bakal depreciate itu? Jangan benci dia, have pity - sesungguhnya dia masih belum mengerti...

Encik Neo, mana kau pergi? Apa cerita? Aku harap sihat selalu dan keadaan semuanya tenang di Manchester. Masalah melanda? Itu biasa, semua orang melaluinya. Now it's too late! I totally blame it on Vieri's poor headings... all six or seven of them during that game against Sweden!

I gotta give credit to Buffon's hairdresser though... impeccable staying power demonstrated throughout all three games...

And I can't believe the boring Germans lost to Czech's so-called Team B! But I guess I'm not that sad they lost - I have bet against them during the last World Cup, I know save Kahn the veteran and Ballack with his ugly semi-long haircut (unlike Raul's which is worth recommending), his team will screw their chance again - but their chances to go through looked much better on paper compared to Holland though.

I suspect Czech's going to the finals - but against which team, I'm not sure. I would like to see my Nuno Gomes in finals, but England and France are looking good. The wild card here would be Greece - it might as well be the year of the Troy...

Just got back from a jog. Woke up very early today, 7am, not my usual waking time. Even my housemate couldn't believed it. hmmm...May be they still didn't know me. It is actually my daily routine to wake up early in the morning and go for a jog. But I rarely doing the activity since got here, in reflection to the weather. (alasan...padahal pemalas)

By doing the jogging activity is a chance to know the community. I'm glad that I get to know more people each time I go out. Like last two days, I met an old English guy on the way back to my house. This man he works as a traffic warden for school children. He only opperates during morning, where kids get to school, and afternoon around 3-4pm, during the end of school's session. I wonder may be he is in 60's....He was the one who approached me first. I was walking in a sweaty shirt and this man said to me "How was it son? Feeling good?" And I replied "Sure." Plus a big smile. Then this morning I met him again. At the same traffic light, same junction, same uniform. He was busy guiding the kids crossed the road, but still then he gave me a big smile and "Good Morning son".

I also recieve a warm greating from a lady. An old English lady as I passed by her house. She was talking to her friend when I passed by for the first time. Then I passed by her house once again and she was alone standing in front of the house door. "Good morning" and a sweet smile. Good morning back to her.

As I got home, I sat outsite my house to have some fresh morning air and a rest. Then my next door neighbour whom I haven't met since moved in came out of his house to go for work. A "paki" and he gave me a smile and "Good Morning". "Good morning to you too".

hehe...I'm really happy this morning. I met a bunch of people who were nice and made me feel welcome to the community. Hope to meet more nice people in the neighbourhood soon. This jogging activity really a good way to know more people, especially in the morning.

I simply refuse to believe that old Smeagol has nothing interesting to say. But yup, had you been bitching about your company, it would have been a scoop for my publication - so cough it out! OK, maybe you should not.

Tak puas hati dengan management perkara biasa la - you get that everywhere. Times are bad right now, even my co is going through restructuring, and many of us aren't exactly thrilled cause we don't know what's going on - see - another complaint issued already: the management is not being transparent enough.

But for me I'm looking forward to the possibility of being deployed from my co. I'm already daydreaming of going to a sporting event assignment, or having to cover the latest agro-tourism spot in Borneo etc.

Anyway, things should get more interesting now: it's Euro time!

My favourite team has always been the cute boys in blue, Italy - simply because good looks motivates me. Take one look at Zambrotta and what's more to say - he's got to be the most good-looking player alive!

I remember watching the Azzurri during Euro 96 when Roberto Baggio still looked good. Then World Cup 98 had the combo of Baggio and Alessandro Del Piero.

Then more names became familiar, Inzaghi, Vieri, Totti.. Collina? I wonder how Collina looks like when he was a baby or a toddler or a teenager... probably not much has changed.

Pada suatu masa sekarang, ada seorang budak yang diberi nama Betik. Dia seorang yang sangat rajin bekerja dan sangat suka membaca buku.

Betik dan kawan-kawannya kadang kala rajin menulis di blog. Walaupun tidak bertemu, melalui blog yang sama Betik dan kawan-kawannya dapat berhubung.

Pada suatu hari, Betik telah membuka blognya sendiri. Blog yang cantik lagi kemas itu selalu dikemaskinikan, dan sekarang Betik juga telah pandai memuatnaik gambar-gambar keluarga yang dikasihinya.

Sejak Betik membuka blognya sendiri, dia sudah jarang-jarang mengblog di blognya yang terdahulu, yang dikongsi bersama dengan kawan-kawan tersayang. Apa kejadahkah yang menyebabkan Betik begitu sibuk hingga tak sempat lagi menulis sepatah dua kata buat kawan-kawannya yang begitu mengasihi dirinya?
