Virus Alert - watch out!! its coming to you!

i spend lots of my time to play games nowadays. just some stupid games, worms and flash base, downloadable from the net. eventhough they look just stupid games, but they really good in reducing such burdens. i play it frequently. wake-up from sleep..games. before going to sleep..games. it all began when i've got an assignment of a research based study, Computer Gaming Software Development. not just me, everybody in my class has already addicted to these games. one has discovered a site, another has discover another site, he found one...she found one...so everybody busy playing games now.

last night i played a shooting games calles Bush Shootout. quite nice Flash based game. just similar tu what we have on the microgenius, an old buddy from 90's. do you guys still remember those games. mario bros., road fighter, pac man...so i played it before going to sleep.

in the morning i play worms underground before i log in to YM and having some chat with mr. leman and cik liza. then i checked my email. i saw a mail from miss siti and a mail from my university. the tiltle - Virus Alert. so i opened it. damn it was a mail containing virus files. so i delete it....later i shutdown the pc and went to university. i have 2 meeting that afternoon. the tv advert project meeting and the small business enterprise meeting. both doesnt turned out well. in both meeting only two team members turned-up out of four. me and the other one. so nothing to discussed and we just having some chat bout how britain is.

by 3.30pm i got back home and saw amin, my buddy from uni hall, working on my pc. that's fine. later i discover something wierd on the screen. my Liv Tyler wallpaper wasn't there. it was only a black blank screen. and the YM didn't display it's graphics. so i asked amin wthether he did opened any strange sites. he said no and mentioned that he only opened an email. the email titled VIrus Alert send by the uni address. and he continued saying that he also did opened up the attachment. WHAT?! you opened it. ohhh bloody hell. so i quickly made the online virus scanning. and...for god sake...4706 files in my hard disk have been infected by WORM_MYDOOM.F....playing worms in the morning and being attack by worms in the afternoon..that is my life for today.

this virus do not disturbing the computer system. it only deleting files with *.doc, *.jpeg, *.avi, *.bmp extension. it was really bloody hell...it deleted all my paperworks form the past semester including all the graphic desgins. and to make it worst it also deleting my sources for the new assignment - Computer Gaming Software Development. all the journals and conference proceedings are gone. aarrrgghh...hey the submission date is 27 feb 2004. just 2 days ahead. i was really scared and didn't know what to do. i almost going crazy. so i keep on asking my collegue when is the dateline. i think i did asked from almost everybody....and once again alhamdulillah...god still spare my life. the dateline has been postponed to 5 march 2004. pwweiihh...bernafas aku. eventhough i have to do my paper all over again, at least i still got time.

i do have some back up files for the past paperworks. i stored it in the university server and floppy disk. it is a good action then. but what really make me felt so disappointed and sedih, frust, kecewa, gundah gulana....designs aku. habis...everything is gone. my graphics, my animations...ooohhh. i couldn't made any backup for those files since the size were too big. just for the graphics...one design can acceed 50Mb. and for animation it could be 12MB. so i don't have the equipments to make external storage. i don't have cd-r or external hdd. so just leave it inside my pc. and now they are gone. they left me alone in this cruel world. why do people wanna create such virus and harms other's pc. don't they have better works to do instead of messing with other's toys. hah??

i do hope i have the power like superman. the power to destroy all the virus just using laser form my eyes. and the strength to knock down all the hackers and virus creater and squashing their pcs laptops like chocolate cookies which i'm eating now.
heheheh...hahahaha....hahahaha....

smells like a classic nescafe

walloo...haha...happening happening.
search..."otai" rock kangkang. wandering how was the gig. filled of brader-brader rambut panjang (may be some still having the mengerbang punya rambut)+ t-shirt hitam lambang loudness...seluar fitting abis...kasut Aliph. haha...what an imagination. surely everybody enjoys the show....melastik ke bintang, was it the encore? or melayar bahtera??

really hope i can catch RHCP. the tickets on sale starting today. i will log on to the website for the tickets. and Incubus also performing this 14 may. gonna catch them also. it will be at MEN Arena, really close to liza's house, so no transportation problem.

as everything looks good + happening, i really hate today. woke up in the morning i did recieved an email from university saying that my accessibility to university's facilities is blocked since MARA still not clearing my tution fee. i rushed to the phone and give MARA a call and the officer said that they had already made the payment last week. ookk....so i went to class and straight to the posgraduate office after that. a woman entertained me and she checked the registry database. nooooo...they haven't recieved any payment yet. aargghh...what should i do now. i have an assignment that need to be submited this 27feb, and it is a research based. i must use library and computer center facilities for that.

i went to my dept general office to collect my 1st semester result. really worried bout that. and once i opened up the envelope, my disasterous nightmare begins. i got 24% for my Virtual World. haaaaa...no no noooo... what the hell has happened maaann...do they know how to check the assignment or what. this is my worse result that i got since MCC. how i wanna tell my mother father and MARA.....make me wanna sing nirvana's....rape me...rape me my friend....rape me...rape me again...am i the only one...rape me..rape me..rape mee.........

enough bout that...i wanna go to class now. research methodology and skills...don't know what i'm going to do in this class...the most sleepy class for this semester.

apa2: i did mimpi lot of things. didn't remember whether i did mimpi her again or not. but last night i dreamt bout you guys in malaysia. we hanged out at dataran merdeka. don't ask why dataran..i don't have the answers

"Orang kata rock is dead tapi malam ini, anda semua telah membuktikan bahawa itu semua tidak benar!" - Amy Search

Finally, the tribe-members has spoken! The alliance is still alive - yeah, busy, but alive.

It's especially good to know that our beloved Leman is enjoying work - new team, new challenges, new paycheck? (Since you're gushing about how happy you are and how busy you're getting day by day, surely they must reward you with something, no?)

It's especially good to know that someone will soon get the chance to catch RHCP...! RHCP bro! RHCP! I mean no thanks Mariah Carey, step aside Incubus!

Aku jeless habiss kat Brader Leman cause he said he's happy with work and I can't say the same thing anymore. And aku lagi jeless kat Encik Neo cause he'll get to catch RHCP and I won't!

It's a good thing I have this blog to vent out. The truth is when things are like this, reading about something good that happens to people around me always makes me feel a bit better and less bitter about things in my own zen.

Last month I had to cover 4 extra features pages simply cause an old senior writer bitch is too lazy to finish her job - the average load per person is 8 pages per issue, but though this auntie bitch only has about 4 each month itu pun tak bleh habiskan.

Features are not easy to do - they're like stuff we do for Adnan J, lit. review, methodology etc, you guys should know what I mean. Don't ask me to talk to my Ed cause I already tried and nearly end up with another extra 2 pages!

But of course I went Search's sold-out concert last Saturday with Zara my old 408/6 PPP housemate and our very own zzzRoi - seems we were the only ones interested to go. Stadium penuh manusia berbaju hitam berambut panjang... janji rock! And I heard many people bribed the gate-keepers for entry! And of course I managed to tape a bootleg version of the concert.

But RHCP! RHCP! Need I say more?

Neway, I'm thinking about getting meself a new routine. Thought of switching jobs, but I'm not that brave yet (been surfing jobstreet plus nstappointments nonetheless!). Thought of getting myself educated (as if!), but I can't even make up my mind which way to go.

Maybe you guys have suggestions?

Please don't even think of suggesting that I should balik kampung duduk rumah, tak pun kahwin je lah, cause I can't afford it (actually I don't mind the balik kampung part). Do you guys know that my favourite Maggi mee is now RM3.50 for a pack of 5 + 1 instead of RM3.10 and the rate of duit hantaran has gone up to a range of RM7K to RM10K?

Cut short: Betik san, anytime you feel like having teh tarik at Katak, use that handphone of your's man! And get Pocket san to come as well, I miss his chubby cheeks. Those one-word replies are my mockery of your own busy schedule, actually.

p/s: News from KL: One MCA rep (Bukit Bintang seat) said that the transvestites in Malaysia should be trained and groomed to do cutural performances ala Pattaya. I thought his suggestion was bad and kinda glad that I am not a voter under that area, but whaddaya know, some folks are actually nominating Bush and Blair for Nobel Peace Prize - apakah?!

p/s2: Intan's shout out to Grik: Ada mimpi kan dia lagi tak?

show me the money too

ahak ahak ahak...

search?? mariah carrey??? ooo...no! no!! no!!! don't tell me. i wanna see Incubus in action this march. i relly like their new album "a crow left of the murder". i like the 'megalomaniac' track. they are more into political stuff now. but damnnnn...it is in kuala lumpur. why every rockstar wanna make their concert while i am here? why??? why??

i just missed HIM concert last friday. if it was not that i went to london i still cannot get the show as the tickets were sold out since late december. i really iri hati sama liza n mates. they got to justin timberlake concert last 26jan. i don't like justin, but they got to a concert....a C.O.N.C.E.R.T

i was looking for A Perfect Circle then. their show is tomorrow(friday 7 feb), but again..the tickets are sold out. heyyy...what the hell is happening to this city. is it everybody knows how to rock? give me some chance to have rock n roll.

and i'm waiting to catch Red Hot(RHCP) this june. a big concert in a big stadium. mancester city stadium. i'm looking for it. hope this time i'll not gonna miss it. i was missing def leppard concert here, in bradford. but it was ok i think cause their gig was a day after i got here. so boleh dimaafkan lagi. and skid row was playing a gig last bulan puasa. just behind my house. but it was bulan puasa...banyak beramal(was i???)...hope not this time.

but at least i havd some pleasant and smooth moments last night. i went to this pub...oh damn i couldn't remember the name. they have jazz and blues. monday is blues night...wednesday is jazz night. at last i found a good place to hang out. me and 4 of my classmate. we were really chilling with the jazz sounds. last night it was Jon Taylor Quartet playing. an oldtimer. i think may be their age range between 50s. but they really good. i love the drummer. he got so much feelings and passion of his drum set. he kept closing his eyes while playing. seemed like he got his drum set in his mind. and every time he hit the snare, toms, floor toms, hi hat symbals, china symbal, crash symbals...it just felt like he is young in life. dammmnnn....they really damn good. so damn good. we were cruising till late last night. and i got hard time to woke up this morning for the class.

apa2: ha ah la betik...mana lu sudah pegi. gua tau la lu sibuk. tapi takkan sepatah pun lu tak leh tulis. c'mon...you're my friend. don't let it be a "funeral for a friend"

apa2: syameen...tell intan..hhmmm...hmm...i don't know. tell her anything you think of.

apa2: aku nak tgk School of Rock jugak. isnin depan aku gi....dan duit mana...mau cari duit.

Show me the money!!!!

Search will be performing on Feb 7, Saturday, with Indon mari Godbless as opening act. Tickets cheapest at RM27, all the way to RM57, if I'm not mistaken.

Mariah Carey will be in town wearing the most decent clothing she can bear on Feb 22, Sunday. Tickets cheapest at RM68.

VE will be performing for Planet Hollywood's Sunday Night Live sessions of Feb 8 and 15. Since my sis' band will only start their nightly gig at Planet H on March 1, I might have to cough up RM35 just to get through the club's ugly coyote girls.

Faridah Merican is directing Joe Hasham's Life... Sdn Bhd and the play is on starting today all the way to Sunday. Cheapest ticket is RM32 but thanks to a forgotten MCC student ID, I can get in paying just RM16.

Sunetra Fernando will bring back Rythm in Bronze on Feb 16 Sunday and 17 Monday, and the venue is DFP. Even cheapskates will have to fork out at least RM50 to catch this show, but I might buy Intan's ticket (since she could not go) at RM40.

Mana nak cari duit ni.... nak tengok School of Rock lagi ni... Why must all these people do their stuff in February? Can't they wait another month for me to recover from the two Raya overspents?

p/s: Betik... apo jadi dgn ekau..? Encik Grik, Intan says hi... I'll tell her you're finally havin fun now that you've discovered London..

the magic

selamat hari raya aidiladha

it was a time to remember the past, present and future. the past that had been aligned the path that we walk in today. the present that has made to be forgoten and forget. the future that seem so promissing. yet another moment to lost and being forgiven.

just read form the news that hundreds of muslim died in mina. stampede.

but did anyone realised that a big event has occured. may be, imam mahadi is born. it seem too closed that this thing happen as the signs of his birth hugely shown. remember in the last ramadhan, we're having two "gerhana matahari". i'm not quite sure whether this is written in the al-quran or is it a hadith. but the biggest signs of the birth of imam mahadi are the gerhana matahari in ramadhan followed by the riot during hajj. eventhough it was not riot, the situation that happened in mina could be described as riot since the way the accident happened similar to the riot atmosphere. stampede...pushing...falling... kicking...stepping...blood...injury...die...everything so close.

and i just got back from london 2 days ago. on the first day in london, i went to london central mosque for a maghrib preyer. hmmm...i really happy and glad to be there. a huge mosque like we have in malaysia (masjid shah alam/masjid putrajaya/masjid jln diary, ipoh). and the mosque is run by the arabs from mekah. and they're the follower of imam syafie.

believe it or not i almost got in tears as we started to prey. it was a moment that i have lost since i got here, in uk. even in bradford as we have a huge muslim community, it is not the same as what i had in that mosque. i really missed the sound of "amin" at the end of fathihah. hanafi followers that do not recite the "amin" word. they just keep on silence.

it shows that we only wake-up and realise that we have something so valueable, but we still not understand the magic of it.

and london really made me feel just like home. its really happening there. even at 12 midnight the city still roaming. the bars, palnet hollywood, hard rock cafe, odeon, warner bros. cinema, underground trains, buses.

the city never sleep. we went for a supper at 3am and the shops still open, i mean the cafe, pubs, bars, kebab's, donner's. the city bus services run 24hours a day. could you believe it. i still couldn't. damn...do they know how to sleep or are they programmed to live for the whole days.

but the important thing is, i feet alive there, in london. no like bradford, the haunted city as everybody get home after 5pm. not like manchester where everybody felt asleep at 11pm.

london is a must place to be for me now. may be i'll go there again on march...april...may...june...july...august...september...october...as long as i'm here.
